Chapter 2

Warm air and glistening seawater.

Below the tank photo on the right-hand side is a picture of Biscayne Bay. At the bottom of this image, cruise ships are visible (Miami is the largest cruise ship port in the world) and on the far right is Miami Beach. The island running parallel to Miami Beach’s left (bottom right corner) is Star Island. The two islands parallel to the cruise ships are Palm Island (the larger one), and Hibiscus Island – where Agora is enjoying the view with orange juice in hand at the Co-Lab.

(Fun fact: Just above Hibiscus Island to the right – near the tiny island with a 34-meter high obelisk in memory of Henry Flagler, who is considered the founder of Miami – is my favorite spot to swim with my kids.)

The three videos below offer a great glimpse of the area. The first takes you around Star Island, and the second explores Palm Island and Hibiscus Island. If you’re curious about where celebrities like Shakira and Rihanna live, check out the third video. You can also see where Ben Affleck, Ricky Martin, Julio Iglesias, and Frank Sinatra have lived by watching the Spanish tourist boat video.
